A new parent commissioned me to make this large angel wall art for her daughter's first Christmas. It will be a keepsake piece that her daughter will take with her when she leaves home. I worked with the client to include symbolism that referenced things that were important to her. Acrylic over gesso on salvaged wood, with gold leaf highlights.
